TBi is an open
team - one does not have to be invited to join. Ride
with us a few times to see if we're what you're
looking for in terms of organization, speed, intensity and
purpose.
You don't have to be a licensed USCF racer to join, merely want to ride
with racing intensity and skill. With as wide a membership as
TBi has, there is, most probably, someone with
which you can ride. For more information, please read below and
explore the website. Don't hesitate to drop a line to any of the
officers.
Why Join
TBi ?
Part of the reason for joining a team is for the support it provides us in
our bicycling endeavors. Much of that support is subjective ... people
with which to ride ... people from whom we may receive advice and encouragement
... help in competing or just participating in bicycle events. But, we
know bicycle racing is an
expensive sport that consumes not only the time, but also
the resources of its participants.
TBi believes it should help.

racing fee reimbursement program in which the club pays the member
$15 per day of racing in a TXBRA level USCF event after
the first such events. This is open ended. For
example, if a member races 10 TXBRA racing events - they
will receive $40. Members must submit their results
monthly (within 30 days of the event) and are paid in
the next meeting after the end of the quarter. See

| Sponsor provided equipment and products are given to those that need them
during USCF events. This help is given on a basis of availability,
member participation in Club / Team events and the member's dedication to
racing.

| Sponsor provided equipment
and products given as door prizes to those
attending club meetings. During the past year an
average of $300 worth of equipment and products
have been given in each meeting.

TBi
meetings are the first Monday of each month
usually at the Bedford store. Every quarter we meet
at the Arlington store. If the first Monday is a holiday, the meeting
is the following week. Meetings start at 7:00 pm and last about an hour
and a half.
Joining TBi:
TBi
works on an annual membership basis. However,
joining after September 1st provides a membership for the
ensuing
year. A rider does not have to be a licensed USCF
racer to join. Dues are:

Racer Reimbursement 2005:
USCF racers will be
reimbursed at a fixed rate of $15 per day of racing excluding USCF
training races (Tue/Wed/Thur) which will be reimbursed at
$10.
1. Program will run
from 1/1/2005 until 12/31/2005.
2. ROY will track
racing days for reimbursement determination. Note: This
means you have 30 days to submit results if you want it
considered for ROY or reimbursement.
3. Treasurer will
make reimbursement payments only at monthly team meetings
based on the following schedule. You must be present to
receive reimbursement (unless other arrangements have been
made in advance) otherwise you will forfeit the
reimbursement.
