Two Road Races separated by a 6.2 mile,
hilly, Time Trial - That is the Fayetteville Stage Race.
TBi fielded its largest group of racers in recent memory
at this event. Most of the team stayed together at
the Luther Hill Religious Retreat Camp to share food,
stories, strategy and fellowship - not to mention the
services of two Masseuses, our own team Chiropractor (Amy
Kirsch), and the over-all support selflessly given by
Lauren Hollinger, Nicole Beck, Robbie Merritt and Andrea
Schneider . Though we had few GC triumphs, the
individual event achievements were many (see Results
section). This was an event that exemplifies what
our team and our efforts are all about.
In the Cat Vs was Nolan
Brett, Bill Chambers and Lewis Runnion.
In the Category IVs we had
Chris Dow, Damian Chavarez as well as Jason Rodreguez (not
pictured)
Brian Bordovsky and Nathan
Larimer did the Cat IIIs
Nathan has too much fun
on Sunday
Our 35+ team consisted of
Mike Reade, Mike Talifero, John Woodson and Steve
Covington.
The 45+ and 55+ races - run
together - had Don Merritt, Eugene Lugo, Jerry Vargas,
Andy Hollinger, Richard Vincent, Wayne Alexander and Jamie
Connally in them.
Juniors were Matt Sauls
(First Race!), Andrea Schneider and Zac Ford.
Amy Kirsch and Paula Wilson
competed in the Women Category IV.
